**Surplus Property**

The Nixa Fire Protection District is accepting sealed bids for a 1994 E-One Fire Engine. The vehicle has recently become surplus property, and will be sold to the highest bidder. A minimum reserve does apply to this purchase and if the reserve amount is not met the district reserves the right to refuse all bids. Bids will be accepted until 4pm Monday August 16, 2021. Some specifics on the vehicle are as follows:

1994 E-One Pumper Shop Order #14225 GVW 38,100

Cummins 8.3 diesel engine w/153,000 miles

Allison Automatic transmission

Hale 1250gpm pump, most recent pump test was June, 2020

750 gallon water tank upgraded when we purchased in 2004

Vehicle was purchased used in October 2004

Vehicle was in service as a front line unit until Fall 2009

Vehicle was in service as a reserve unit until May 1, 2021

Includes the following loose equipment:

Ground Ladders 24’,14’, and 10’

Lite Box flashlights

TFT Extenda-gun with TFT deck gun and nozzle

2-10’ Hard Suction

1000 ft of 5 inch LDH

Some minor loose equipment such as axes and pike poles

Maintenance records are available for this vehicle.

Vehicle is to be sold as is/where is without any warranty actual or implied.

The Nixa Fire Protection District covers an area of approximately 53 square miles. District boundaries start to the north at the Christian / Greene County line, west along the James River to the fork where the James meets the Finley River, north on the Finley River, east approximately halfway between Nixa and Ozark, then north to the county line.
