The Last Call
The last call has been called,
the trucks have been placed back in their quarters, ready to respond again.
Only this time, things will be different,
we mark this stone for those who have passed,
for these fallen members of our family, will live forever in the memories of our hearts,
for we are firefighters, and family is life!

A Firefighters Prayer
Lord, grant me the courage to face and conquer my fears to share and endure the ordeal of those who need me…
Grant me the strength of heart and body to bear whatever burden might be placed upon me, and to deliver to safety all those placed within my care…
Give me concern for others the compassion for comfort, and the love to serve unselfishly whenever I am called…
And please, Lord, through it all be by my side.
